Guangdong Province, located in the southernmost of mainland China, adjacent to Hong Kong and Macao, features an excellent geographic position. As an economically strong province in China, Guangdong attaches great importance to tourism industry, with various tourism indicators ranked first in the country. Guangdong province as a business travel and leisure resort has four tourism brands, like “Lingnan culture, vigorous business hub, gold seacoast and gourmet paradise”.
岭南文化Lingnan culture
岭南文化是中华文化中最具有特色和活力的地域文化之一。粤剧、潮剧、客家山歌、舞龙、舞狮、雕塑、刺绣等民间艺术，还有西关骑楼、客家围屋、岭南园林和开平碉楼等特色建筑都是岭南文化的典型代表。其中，融合中西建筑文化特色、体现华侨文化精髓的开平碉楼与村落被评为了“世界文化遗产”。
Lingnan culture is one of the most distinctive and dynamic regional cultures in China, integrated by marine culture, Central Plains culture and overseas culture. As we know, the followings such as Guangdong opera, Chaozhou opera, hakka folk songs, dragon and lion dance, sculpture, embroidery and other folk arts, as well as Xiguan arcade, hakka enclosed houses, Lingnan garden and Kaiping Watchtowers, are typical representatives of Lingnan culture. Among them, Kaiping Watchtowers and Villages, integrated with architectural and cultural characteristics at home and abroad, and representing the essence of overseas Chinese culture, have been selected as the "World Cultural Heritage".

广东省是我国重要的经济中心，商务会展业发达，每年都举办各种大型的国际展会。如广交会、深圳高交会、广东国际旅游文化节和广东旅博会等，极大地促进了国内外商家的合作，为广东的商务旅游带来了勃勃生机。第十六届广州亚洲运动会的成功举办，更使广东获得了众多国内外好评及报道。
Guangdong Province as an important economic center in China is characterized at developed business convention and exhibition with hundreds of large-scale international exhibitions held every year.For example, the first fair in China - China Import and Export Fair in Guangzhou, and China Hi-Tech Fair in Shenzhen, which greatly promote the cooperation of domestic and foreign businesses. 黄金海岸Gold seacoast
广东的滨海旅游资源非常丰富，海岸线长达4114公里，是我国大陆最长的海岸线。广东海域辽阔、岛屿众多,像阳江海陵岛、茂名水东湾、南澳岛，以及台山上下川岛等，都是国内外游客喜爱的滨海度假胜地。
Guangdong possesses very rich coastal tourism resources, with a 4,114 km coastline, the longest in mainland China. Vast sea and numerous islands form beautiful seaside sceneries. The following coastal resorts have attracted and been promoted to all tourists at home and abroad. Yangjiang “Silver beach” in Hailing Island, listed in Guinness World Records, Maoming Shuidong Bay known as "the First Beach in China", Nan`ao Island, famous as "The most beautiful island in Guangdong" as well as Chuan Island in Taishan, called as "Oriental Hawaii".

广东美食名扬中外。广东菜以其取材精巧，色、香、味、形俱全等特点，成为海内外最受欢迎的菜式之一。除此之外，广东还是花果之乡。荔枝、杨桃、木瓜、香蕉等都是有名的岭南佳果。“食在广东”，名扬天下！
Cantonese cuisine is an outstanding representative of Chinese food. Cantonese food features delicate material and combination of color, aroma, taste and form, and then becomes one of the most popular foods at home and abroad. In addition, Guangdong is a fruit origin. 除了四大旅游品牌之外，广东还拥有奇山秀水、温泉、高尔夫和主题公园等旅游产品，类型多样，能够满足游客各种旅游需求。Pleasant climate, beautiful scenery and evergreen plants make Guangdong an ideal destination for leisure. Besides four tourism brands I just introduced, Guangdong province also has unique and beautiful mountains and rivers, hot springs, golf and theme parks, and the visitors can be satisfied here.
韶关丹霞山以其壮丽奇特的丹霞地貌，被世界教科文组织评为世界自然遗产。目前，广东已建成大型温泉度假区130多处,高品质高尔夫球场80多个。主题公园也是广东的拳头旅游产品。长隆、华侨城和海泉湾度假城等大型主题公园在国际旅游市场中都享有较高的知名度。
Shaoguan Danxia Mountain is praised as a World Natural Heritage by UNESCO based on its magnificent Danxia landform. At present, more than 130 large hot spring resorts have been built in Guangdong, and more than 80 high-quality golf courses have been constructed. Theme park is also another famous tourism product in Guangdong. As is known, Chimelong Tourist Resort, OCT resort and Ocean Spring resort are highly recognized in the international tourism market.
近年来，广东的旅游服务质量不断提升，配套设施也日臻完善。目前，广东的7个机场共拥有300多条国内航线和130条国际航线，每年客流量7688万人次。 截至2013年1月，全省共有星级旅游饭店1091家，其中五星级110家、四星级186家；旅行社1625家，其中经营出境游业务组团社216家、外资社15家；A级景区192家，其中5A级8家、4A级114家。
In recent years, the quality of tourism services in Guangdong has been continuously improved and supporting facilities are increasingly perfect. At present, the 7 airports in Guangdong run more than 300 domestic airlines and 130 international airlines, and carry 76.88 million person-times every year.As of JAN 2013, there are 1091 star-rated hotels in Guangdong, including 110 five-star and 186 four-star hotels; there are 1625 travel agencies where 216 agencies are qualified to operate outbound travel business; there are 192 A-level scenic spots, where there are 8 spots marked 5A and 114 spots marked 4A.
